No. Small, medium and large dogs have separate play areas and separate groups. We also match on play style, so a gentle medium dog isn’t stuck with a rowdy one.
Yes. Dogs who can’t share a space are never mixed with a group. They get their own rotation through the yards and one-on-one time with their guardian. Our No Mix Fee of $10.60 per unit of care covers that individual rotation time, independent play, and the extra attention and love they get while they’re here.
A day and a night together make one unit: a full 24 hours of care. Add-on charges like the No Mix Fee are applied per unit. On your dog’s last day, picking up before 9:00 am doesn’t add another unit.
Pick up before 9:00 am and there’s no late checkout fee. After 9:00 am, a $35.15 late checkout fee applies, and your dog is welcome to stay the rest of the day: until 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, or 6:00 pm on weekends.
Regular hours start at 7:00 am. Boarding guests and clients with a daycare block can drop off starting at 6:00 am, seven days a week.
Your dog’s own food, any medications with instructions, and current vaccination records. We provide the beds, bowls and blankets, and you’re welcome to send a favorite toy or comfort item from home.
Forgot the food, or ran out? We keep house food on hand for an additional charge: pumpkin and rice with your choice of chicken or beef. For cats we stock Hill’s Science Diet, wet and dry.
Yes. Every pet needs up-to-date vaccination records on file before their first stay, daycare day or grooming appointment. You can upload them when you create your account in our client portal.
Our virtual tour is on its way. In the meantime, you’re always welcome to come in during open hours, meet us at the front desk and watch the play yard through the entryway. We don’t run in-person tours through the facility, because the only people around your dog while they’re here are our guardians, who are trained and approved to be with them.
We do, and we’re good at it. Our Color Theory service covers tiger stripes, cheetah spots, zebra, holiday colors and custom designs. Bring us a picture and we’ll talk it through. We use pet-safe color, we’ll tell you honestly if a coat won’t hold the look you want, and Color Theory is by appointment only.
Yes. Doodles, Newfoundlands and other heavy coats are regular work for us, matting included. Book early for the big ones, since they take a full slot.
Yes. For daycare, pair a daycare block with a transportation block ($300 for 10 round trips) and we’ll handle pickup and drop-off anywhere within 15 miles of the ranch. For boarding we go farther: we have clients in Evergreen and up toward Boulder, and we’ll travel as far as Colorado Springs, up to about two hours out.
The pet taxi doesn’t run on Sundays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Call us with your address and we’ll tell you what the run looks like.
Yes. You’ll get daily pup-dates with photos during your pet’s stay, and you can call the ranch any time we’re open.
Visits on New Year’s Eve and Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Eve and Day are charged at double the standard rate. Holiday stays may require a non-refundable deposit, and space goes fast, so book early.
Yes. Daycare blocks of 10, 20 or 30 days bring the daily rate down, with one free day for every ten, and they unlock our 6:00 am drop-off. Each additional dog in the same boarding stay is 25% off, and so is each additional cat in the Kitty Corral.
Since 2008: about fifteen years of pet sitting, and the last five here at the ranch doing boarding, daycare and grooming. We no longer offer pet sitting, dog walking or cat sitting.
